How this works in law

Straight terms

British Columbia has real rules about commission sales, and we built this to fit them rather than to dodge them.

There is a floor. If your commission in a pay period works out below BC minimum wage (CA$18.25/hour as of June 1, 2026), we pay the difference. You are never left below the floor.
Overtime and stat holidays are covered. Commission sales in BC are excluded from the overtime and statutory holiday provisions of the Employment Standards Act, provided the earnings test above is met. We apply that properly.
Vacation still applies. Two weeks after your first year, three after five, paid at 4% then 6%. The exemption from overtime does not touch it.
Termination notice applies. One week after three months, two after twelve, three after three years.
Everything is in writing. Rates, how commission is calculated, the earnings floor, and how either side ends it. Before you start.
You keep what you make. No clawback, no hidden fees, no fee for the link. The commission is the commission.

These are the current rules under the BC Employment Standards Act and Regulation 396/95. They change. If you want the agreement itself, ask and we will send it before you ever speak to us.
